Let's practice yoga & meditation together as a community -- making it really welcoming for beginners, while also challenging for long time practitioners.
The cost is a sliding scale of what you can afford. B/c yoga in the city is super expensive and we want to make it accessible to everyone. It would be awesome for a core group of people to commit to all 5 weeks, but all are welcome.
Ahava is a certified instructor of yoga and practice an Iyengar/Anusara style, teaching a practice that holds poses for a longer period, focusing on proper alignment - the balance between strength and openness. We also know that there are many Hallers that have practiced yoga for a long time who can also lend a hand and welcoming spirit to those who are brand new.
We'd start practice with a 15 minute meditation sit. To practice together as a community. To sit together as a community. Share different techniques. For those of you also new to meditation and want to try it, this is your opportunity to come and taste it for a brief period with people that you trust. Our community.
