Monthly Meetup

Tentative plan for Monday:  recap of Scalatron tournament, short talk by Brad on slicing and dicing CSV data with the product-collections library and possibly working koans together.

We'll also field any general questions about the language.  Beginners welcome.

I haven't tried Scala koans yet. I learned Scala using the Typesafe Eclipse bundle. Does anyone have advice on the compatibility of the koans with that environment?

Seems like it should Just Work™. The koans project uses SBT and Typesafe is pushing SBT. I would think Typesafe's IDE would work with their favorite build tool.

If you find otherwise, let us know. Someone in the group might be able to help.

@Tara Once you've downloaded and run the koans, any editor should work against the them.
