Indy Wordlab is a monthly reading series/open writing workshop. A local writers reads their work, takes questions, and offers a writing experiment, Attendees take 30-40 minutes to write on the prompt, and then reconvene in small groups to share their work.
February's WordLab will be led by Nate Brock, one of Metonymy Media's staff writers. Nate is a recent graduate of the University of Indianapolis. He has been published in The Metric, an online journal out of England ( http://www.themetric.co.uk/that-one-time-i-lost-my-virginity/ ); at 50 Word Stories ( http://fiftywordstories.com/2013/01/08/nate-brock-the-things-between-us-and-them/ ); and in three issues of Etchings, UIndy’s literary journal. When he’s not writing, he’s watching gory movies with his fiancée or keeping his eye out for an excuse to party.
