  • Manic Monday????  Feeling the blues cuz Daylight Saving Time is over?    Well, cycling is great therapy so join me for a quick workout on this easy, well lit trail!    Beginners and experienced riders welcome!

If you are not familiar with the Pacific Electric Trail, check out  https://www.facebook.com/groups/FriendsOfThePET/ or  http://www.traillink.com/trail-photos/pacific-electric-inland-empire-trail.aspx

Time:   READY TO RIDE AT 4:05 PM.  Elaine's cell phone is [masked]   SUNSET IS APPROX 5 PM!

PLEASE RSVP HERE OR TEXT HOST *** NO RSVP'S AND RIDE COULD CANCEL!

Distance: TO BE DETERMINED BY GROUP but hopefully to Fontana and back (just under the 15 freeway, approx 15 miles RT) but there's always the 32 mile RT to Rialto.  Ride to your level of comfort and ability -- we will stay together but if you want to turn around sooner you can do that safely whenever you choose.  You really can't get "lost" and the trail is well lit.

Ride Terrain:  paved flat concrete  trail

Ride Difficulty Rating:  Beginner to Advanced Levels based on mileage

Type of bike: Road bike or hybrid

    Speed: 12 -15 mph

WHERE TO MEET:  Meet up at the Rt. 66 Trailhead parking lot by the steps/ramp.  There is a restroom and water fountain.

As with all IEWC rides, you are required to wear a helmet and your bike should be in good working order.  Bring water, extra tubes, pump or Co2, bike tools, and some knowledge to fix your own flat.  Front and rear lights highly recommended.

This ride is on paved trails but does cross busy streets along the trail.  All IEWC Riders are expected to obey the rules of the road and California traffic laws to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride.  For a full list of CA Bicyclist laws go to http://www.dmv.ca.gov
