You can learn the basics of growing your own vegetables through the Grow LA Victory Garden Initiative, a series of four-week classes offered around Los Angeles County. Experienced UC Master Gardener volunteers lead the small, hands-on classes, where participants learn the ins-and-outs of soil preparation, irrigation, planting, pest management, and harvesting. The City of Fontana in coordination with the San Bernardino County Fire Department is conducting a three-day, FREE Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training Course.
