"Whenever people gather to play the drum, the world is a better place." Babatunde Olatunji Drumming circles are a powerful way to build community and bring people together to enjoy a shared sense of life, involvement, and rhythm. In addition to the proven therapeutic benefits of hand drumming, shared rhythm circles can enhance communication, confidence, social relationships, and team building. Drumming is both a physical and a spiritual activity that brings joy and a sense of mindfulness or "living in the moment" to participants. Join Inner Alchemy and Steve Scheurich at Myrtle Reservoir Park for a beautiful evening of drumming. Bring lawn chairs and blankets, drums and rattles if you have them and if not some will be provided. Family friendly event!

How does your mindfulness practice support your relationships? Whether at home, in a workplace or a social gathering we are constantly bumping into each other. My kids, my partner, my boss, the driver in front of me – any of these can bring up my stuff and give me a chance to feel things I might rather avoid. How can mindfulness help mitigate my suffering? Or better yet, help me turn my times of being triggered into opportunities for healing and growth. Join Rick and Rebecca Gage in our March gathering and we will explore mindfulness practices which have proven helpful in our relationships.
