Innovate and Impact, an initiative of the Foundation for Health Advancement (FHA), provides information and education for New Jersey entrepreneurs and innovators to help them develop their ideas into viable commercial enterprises. FHA’s programs grow new science-based businesses in collaboration with New Jersey-based research institutions and inspire students to pursue STEM majors and careers. FHA, in partnership with its affiliates, New Jersey Health Foundation (NJHF) and Foundation Venture Capital Group (FVCG), provides funding and technical support to faculty and student researchers at six New Jersey-based research institutions: Kessler Foundation, NJIT, Princeton University, Rowan University, Rutgers University and Stevens Institute of Technology. Come to our events to learn and share best practices, network with entrepreneurs and investors, and gain insight on topics and trends that will help entrepreneurs advance through the various stages of their ventures. These activities serve FHA’s mission of fostering a culture of innovation by supporting and advancing research to cure diseases and find solutions to health-related needs, and stimulating economic development by growing new science-based businesses in collaboration with New Jersey-based research institutions. FHA is a 501 C(3) not-for-profit organization. Although FHA's focus is on health-related research, startups and commercialization, much of the knowledge and lessons learned we will share through our activities can be applied across business sectors. Entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, researchers, students and businesses that support a growing New Jersey innovation ecosystem should sign up for this group to be notified of upcoming programs and activities.
