NJIT PROCUREMENT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTER - (PTAC)
In its 28th year, the NJIT Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), operates under a cost sharing cooperative agreement between the Department of Defense and New Jersey Institute of Technology.
This cooperative agreement gives NJIT PTAC the responsibility of providing marketing, and technical assistance to small, women-owned, minority owned and Veteran owned small businesses located in the State of New Jersey.
The PTAC Center meets these challenges by reaching out to the business community, educating and training small business owners, so that they may qualify to compete and perform government and large business procurement contracts.
Last year alone, our clients reported more than ½ a Billion dollars in contract awards during August 2011/July 2012 time period. We are on track to exceed that number for this past year.
On September 12, 2013, the Siemens Corporation invites all small businesses to attend a meeting in Mt Laurel with their sales force to see if they can mentor you through the process. Imagine, bidding on large government contracts, jointly with Siemens Corporation? We invited all the incubators to attend this free event.
If you did not receive notice of this opportunity and/or want to be informed of future events - specifically the one that ITT is holding let us know directly.
The Procurement Technical Assistance Center reflects NJIT’s commitment to public service by offering a competitive edge to those small businesses by making available realistic outreach services all, free of charge.
