Local entrepreneurs tend to focus on apps and other quick to market opportunities. In this talk, we will discuss the Identification of global entrepreneurship opportunities as well as local opportunities with university technology.
Mr. Hager is a technology commercialization leader and strategist with broad licensing and evaluation experience and success across multiple industries. He has led economic development projects within growing university-based domestic and international entrepreneurship programs with strong emphasis on technology evaluation, business development, and process implementation. He has additional experience in technology commercialization as a member of a university technology transfer program.
Mr. Hager has worked with new technologies in multiple verticals, including engineering, physical sciences, medical devices, information technology, communications, environmental, manufacturing, process, energy, consumer goods, and biotechnology. His work spans projects within the USA, and globally in diverse places including India, Korea, Hungary, Chile, Ukraine, Vietnam, Latvia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Portugal and Armenia. Additionally, he has worked in, developed and managed offset programs at the University of California, Irvine, and The University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Hager is a Fellow at the IC2 Institute at The University of Texas at Austin.
