The chakra system is one of our many energetic systems which construct our whole being. The chakras are wheels of energy or vortices, located in specific areas of the body. In this series, we will discuss the seven major chakras.
Why understand the chakras? While the knowledge of the chakras is centuries old, this ancient wisdom is appropriate for today's contemplation. Understanding the characteristics of each chakra will support our mental and emotional wellness. Learning to clear and balance the chakras will support both, our emotional and physical health.
Each week we will:
• Discuss the characteristics of one chakra
• Understand how the chakras relate to our life experiences
• Meditate using breath, sound, and imagination
Our chakras are important!! For anyone choosing optimal health, personal growth, and/or to 'experience' Creation at a deeper level, our subtle energy bodies need attention... cleansing, balancing, healing, harmonizing... GRATITUDE... all are important!!
You will leave with the knowledge and experience for a daily practice.
The event space at Bliss Center STL is a yoga style classroom, mats, cushions, folding chairs will be available. Please feel free to bring your own mat or favorite meditation cushion :)
