This group will provide one-time only and time-limited weekly programs for weight management/body image, smoking cessation, and more. Anyone looking to become more mindful in their lives, be healthier, create better habits to replace negative ones, and be open to guided imagery/hypnosis, this group is for you! We are usually working from our subconscious mind in our habits or in a trance-like state (e.g., driving somewhere and not really remembering the drive but you arrived safely), and these different programs/classes/workshops will help us to intentionally access the subconscious to affect better changes. We will also use mindful strategies to keep you in the present moment for a well-rounded approach.
Wind Down Yoga in the Park
Free event at the Oak Ridge Park in Streamwood (Fitness in the Park Series)
Join us for an hour of yoga in the park. Yoga in nature is a grounding experience that will help you to relax even deeper as you take in the surroundings of trees, sunset, breeze, and birds chirping. Bring a mat and wear comfortable clothing you can stretch in.
