What we're about

Join me in a lively monthly connection of women with wisdom and creative spark! These interactive workshops help us access internal guidance guided by the Intentional Creativity® method, a process of art journaling, painting, mixed media and meditation. Connect with a tribe of creatives, makers, artists, writers and those inexperienced yet willing to seek your inner muse. Each session we will explore a topic, find language through various mediums to express thoughts, images, words and movement in community with each other beginning with a Red Thread ceremony of connection. Some questions you may be asked: What would you create if you couldn't fail? What is the story running your life? Are you willing to imagine a new story in a new way? What is yours to cause and create? Do you like chocolate, crayons, markers and paint? Led by a graduate of the Intentional Creativity® Foundation, a certified teacher and coach in this method of gathering women in story and vision to heal, advocate, and support each other in conversation and creative mark making. No painting or writing experience required. A willingness to inquire, seek, and imagine is encouraged.

Red Thread Women's Circle - Feb 28th - 6 to 8:30pm

In Red Thread Circles, we weave the common threads of our stories. Circles are held for women who wish to gather with others as we share stories and a simple project which holds the energy of our visions for ourselves and the future. We include poetry and creative process with each conversation, so bring your journal and favorite pens or markers. The classroom is open from 6-8:30pm. We gather and talk from 6:00 and begin our circle at 6:30pm. Clean up is 8:15 and closing at 8:30. (A donation of $5 or $15 or $?? suggested, to cover room rental & supplies. Can't pay? Please come anyway!) In February we'll be working on themes of Lovingkindness and the Dreams, Intentions, and Journey we will seek for the next months and year coming. If you have magazines with images you'd like to include in your Journal, bring them along. Supplies for each circle are provided and we have blank journals available if you'd like to start a new one for these circles. Bring your stories, your ideas, your challenges, your prayer requests, your love for yourself and others in need and let's gather ourselves together. This is an opportunity to be included in conversation, connection and inquiry through intentional conversation for women. From body workers to victim advocates, teachers to social workers, new moms to retirees, lawyers to elder supporters, doctors to therapists... We all know this is a time for coming together and gathering our wisdom. The Red Thread helps weave our circle. Won't you join us? Location: ALC Copies, 156 Carlton Rd, Suite 104 - lower level behind and below Beer Run near the rail road tracks at Meade & Carlton.
