Tell us a little about yourself.

I've been an aerospace engineer for 21 years, having worked on both rockets and helicopters. I've been reading sci-fi, and anything else quirky, creepy, or downright challenging, most of my life. My all time fave author is Gene Wolfe. I'm also an avid fan of H.P. Lovecraft.

What's your favorite sci-fi novel?

The Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe.

Anything else?

VALIS by Philip K. Dick, Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace, The Sea Came in at Midnight by Steve Erickson, Fiasco by Stanislaw Lem, Last Call by Tim Powers, Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell, The Orphan's Tales Volume 1: In the Night Garden by Catherynne M. Valente, City of Saints and Madmen by Jeff Vandermeer
