We’re going square dancing with City Stompers in Gramercy Park! This form of dancing is lots of fun.
Within the confines of a cozy Gramercy Park bar, there will be live music, good food and drink, and of course the fantastic form of art known as square dancing. There is one very nice feature to this meetup event, the RSVP list is not indicative of the total amount of people present. Usually City Stompers draws between 20-30 people, therefore anyone in our group is more people for the great party they throw.

The plan is to meet in Upper Manhattan, walk over the George Washington Bridge, and have lunch in scenic Fort Lee Park overlooking the Hudson River, admiring close-up views of the famous bridge we will have just crossed. Then the real hike begins.
After resting and fueling up for an hour or so, we will walk back over the bridge and south along the Hudson River Greenway until we reach the Boat Basin Café in the low 80s/high 70s. (approximately 7-8 miles total walking for the day).
The distance makes this a moderately strenuous adventure. There will be opportunities to rest along the Greenway, but we will nevertheless be walking for a long distance.
Let's unwind after a hard week at the place named after our favorite day! A Friday Night out in bustling Forest Hills. There are many options for a drink and/or appetizer(s). The night begins at 7:00 at TGIFridays 70-00 Austin Street (next to Starbucks and two doors from Target). The event description states we will go to 10:00pm, but really the night will conclude at ??? This meet-up will be for the 21 and over crowd (because we will be entering age restricted establishments). Hope to see you there!
