This International Yoga Day, let us come together to honour all things yoga, while expressing our heart felt gratitude for the light and joy that yoga brings to our personal lives and humanity at large.
Last year’s bright and uplifting International Yoga Day event was almost as bright as the smiles on the festival-goers faces. The clear effect of the festival was apparent – the relaxed, happy, faces, and friendly interaction between festival goers summed up everything we all love about yoga – the sense of unity; that we are one as a family, and that we can come together to embody peace and live in harmony. If you loved last year, you’ll definitely fall in love with this year because it’s fun for the whole family. Leading the session will be a variety of local teachers who will be taking you on a fun and inspirational journey through flowing asanas, breath work and a long and luxurious relaxation. We have invited a dear friend/yoga instructor/plant based chef Khristine & her 3 year old daughter Lemira. Together they till take you through some fun yoga asanas for “Kids & Moms”. For a little something different, we will have Sasa Ballet join us too. To make it even more amazing, our special guests from Truc Mai House of Music will be playing tranditional Vietnamese instruments while we take you on a journey of mindfulness meditation and sacred yoga sounds. A journey of the heart, a journey of love.
