Join us for an inspiring evening with award-winning Irish poet & novelist Caoilinn Hughes. The class is aimed at writers but can be enjoyed by anyone with an interest in literature. It will be conducted in English. ADVANCED REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

Hughes' debut poetry collection, Gathering Evidence, won the 2015 Irish Times Shine/Strong Award and the Patrick Kavanagh Poetry Award. Her debut novel, Orchid and the Wasp, was published last year by Oneworld. Anthony Doerr described Orchid and the Wasp as a “gorgeous novel told in an onrush of wit and ferocity” while the Irish Times places Hughes in the vanguard of new Irish fiction. She holds a PhD in English Literature from Victoria University, New Zealand and a masters in 20th Century Irish Theatre and Culture from Queens University in Belfast.

We hope you can join us for the class and stay afterwards to get your book(s) signed and mingle with other writers over drinks & bites.

The cost of this class is €15 – so that we can pay the bookstore for the use of their space and for drinks and bites. Any profit goes to the author or a charity of their choosing. You must register and pay in advance via our website:
