IoT Sydney Meetup tonight (Thursday 24th)

Hi,

IoT Sydney meetup is on tonight and we have two interesting talks. Turn up at 6pm for a 6:30pm start. Food and drinks will be provided.

Dave Glover will be speaking on "The Edge of Reason". A Bridget Jones remake, or IoT Intelligence on the Edge, you decide.

Azure IoT Edge extends cloud intelligence and analytics to edge devices. Azure IoT Edge is a fully managed service that delivers cloud intelligence locally by deploying and running artificial intelligence (AI), Azure services and custom logic directly on cross-platform IoT devices. Run your IoT solution securely and at scale - whether in the cloud or offline. This session will cover the overall architecture of Azure IoT Edge, how to develop for it, and how to manage edge-based solutions.

Kurt Yang is a product manager of a local education start-up company Actura. He has been working on their exciting new robotic STEAM education solution, FlipRobot.

Kurt will touch on the educational robotic market in general, and walk us through the unique FlipRobot educational robotic solution in details.

Coming from a finance and non-technical background, Kurt has gone through fair bit of deep leaning curve while delving into the fascinating world of educational robotics.

Thanks,
Justin
