I have been following Ronald Mallett's work and must say if this guy's short-on-details technique is working time travel is better than space travel because time travel solves one of the greatest problems of space travel in that it takes even light years to travel the cosmos and we can't go faster than that. Yes, I've talked about Time Dilation and how the pilot can have those years pass in days but the point is, Space Travel without Time Travel is really lonely.
