Code Night PVD - GoLang, Web Scrapping & $80,000+ New Jobs for These Students

This CareerDevs Code Night with Arnell, Cliff and Friends will is going to be the bee's knees!

6:00pm - To start the night off, we get into several introductory level topics and code walkthroughs for the first half.

6:30pm - Several CareerDevs students/graduates who have recently been hired talk about their new $80,000 plus jobs that they have landed in May They will talk about the process and the technology stacks that use in their new Jobs.

Next, we jump into a GoLang primer (Taught by CareerDevs guru Cat Turner. This primer will help you learn about Golang and get ready for our BIG June 30th Goglang event).

7:15pm - Lastly, we dig into web Scrapping in C# (several of our full-time Intermediate CareerDevs students will present their .Net web-scraper projects). They will show you how they built them, which tools they used, etc.

Code Night always has something for Intro, Intermediate and Advanced software developers.

Students from the CareerDevs Computer Science Academy and special guests will be speaking and conducting each of the coding walkthroughs.

Background information:
Arnell & Cliff have launched CareerDevs in Providence, RI and once a month you can come out to learn from some of the newest and some of the brightest minds in technology... for free! A laptop and an RSVP request are required. Space is limited to 40 attendees.

CareerDevs Code Night with Arnell & Cliff will meet once per month and you will receive a complimentary online web development course. You will learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, Php, MySQL, Bootstrap, API’s and more as you code and learn how to develop real websites.

CareerDevs students will be on hand to assist, work with you and answer any questions you may have.

Code Night takes place on the Second Wednesday of every month.

The first event took place on Monday, May 11th 2015 in City Hall with Mayor Elorza in attendance.
