Haven't you always wondered what vegan foods tasted like, how to prepare those yummy dishes that no one will believe are vegan, what exactly their health benefits were? Now is your chance! Master Vegan Chef James Mitchel and Certified Holistic Nutritionist, W. H. Young, will expose the Art and Science of Vegan foods. We will undertake a broad exposure to the healthy Vegan experience: Cooking Classes, Presentations on How Foods Heal, Outdoor and Indoor Vegan Potlucks, Visits to Prominent Vegan Restaurants, Foraging Trips to Explore Edible and Medicinal Plants as well as classes, activities suggested by the group. Chef James is a native Philadelphian who is about to open a new Vegan restaurant in Center City, Philadelphia. Mr Young is a holistic nutrition practitioner who reversed his type2 diabetes and bronchial asthma with nutrition. Both are Instructors at Temple University's PASCEP, community education center.
