Back by popular demand!!!  Can Your Business Weather a Recession?

Have you gotten your economic stimulus check yet?   Do you need to funnel those funds back into your business due to economic issues?  Most pundits predict that we are heading into or are currently in a recession. If you’d like to be pro-active and learn some simple steps you can take to insulate your company from economic flux, then plan on attending the first MyEntreNet Webinar of 2008 - Preparing your Business for Recession.  Join guest presenter Maureen Collins-Williams, Director of the UNI Regional Business Center / SBDC on Thursday, May 1, at Noon as she leads a discussion on recession proofing your business!

Maureen Collins-Williams has worked in the small business development field in Iowa since 1982.  She has served as a program manager for Main Street downtown revitalization programs in three rural Iowa communities and owned a retail business in Marion, Iowa for nine years. Maureen is Director of the UNI Regional Business Center, which serves an average of 900 small businesses annually with technical assistance and training, and also MyEntreNet, a community-driven entrepreneurial development system and virtual incubator.  Maureen is a graduate of UNI with a BA degree in Public Administration and holds training certifications from a variety of national entrepreneurship training programs, including NxLevel, Fast Track and NIFTE.

TO PARTICIPATE, go to the MyEntreNet Website at and log in.  Then, simply click “Webinar” located on the compass at the left side of your home page.  (If you haven’t already done so, you will need to fill out a brief registration form to access MyEntreNet.)
