Hike the Hidden Rivers Trail at Fisherman's Landing on the T-F Flowage

This week I'd like to suggest the Hidden Rivers Trail at Fisherman's Landing along the edge of the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. It is about a 2 mile hike to the end of the peninsula, but offers a couple of shorter loops, too. We will meet at the trail head at 8:30 am. If you want to carpool from Faith Lutheran Church, 2701W Kichak's Landing Road, you should meet there at 8:00 am. To reach the trail head from Mercer, take Hwy 51 north to Pierpont Rd (just before the stone house) and turn left. Take the right fork. At the stop sign, turn left onto County FF. Go about 2 miles to Popko Circle EAST and turn left again. Then follow Popko around to Fisherman's Landing Road, on your left. Take that road (slowly, as it is full of potholes) to the upper parking lot. The trail head starts at the back of that lot. As I am coming from the opposite direction, I will meet you at the trail head.
