This is a 10-mile round trip hike and bushwhack to the Wolf Ponds in the Lake George Wild Forest (West Side) for a packraft paddle and pond Aquatic Invasive Species survey. The trip will include overnight primitive tent camping at Buttermilk Pond. Participation in the July 11 Backcountry Water Monitoring Training at Heart Lake is helpful, but not mandatory for this outing.
