COME LET US LEARN TO PREPARE INTERNATIONAL STREET/FAST FOOD 1. "HYDRABADI"

While some street foods are regional, many are not, having spread beyond their region of origin and now very popular around the world. Most street foods are also classed as both finger food and fast food and are cheaper on average than restaurant meals. According to a 2007 study from the Food and Agriculture Organization,  2.5 billion people eat street/fast food every day.

Today, people may purchase street/fast food for a number of reasons, such as to obtain reasonably priced and flavorful food in a sociable setting, to experience ethnice cuisines and also for nostalgia. Historically, in places such as ancient Rome, street food was purchased because the urban poor did not have kitchens in their homes.

While thinking of putting together our January Event, I suddenly thought of the different kinds of street/fast foods that I grew up relishing and decided that it was a good idea to begin an adventure demonstrating to all of you a variety of international Street/Fast Foods. Our first stop on this Street/Fast Food adventure will be "HYDERABADI STREET/FAST FOODS" I was born and raised in Hyderabad and I will be happy to demonstrate a few tasty Hydrabadi Street/Fast Foods for all of you which I really "think" you will enjoy.

Appertizer: Gol Guppa's & Dhokla

Main Course: Raggada Patti's, Fried Fish and Pilaf.

Dessert: Kulfi

Except for the Fried Fish everything else is Vegetarian.

Thanks a million to all of you who attended and made the street food event quite a success. I hope all of you enjoyed it as much as I did.
I have fired my photographer. Next time I will have to make sure I take better pictures at the right time. Thanks to Sundarii who took a few great pictures.

Not sure what happened to my review so here comes another raving review. As always, a gracious hostess but more importantly everything is prepared with love. It was another outstanding event. Lucky us that get to participate in all that you do. I loved the demo and video and of course the sous chef! Thank you for everything! Hugs!
