This one's always a favorite, and it's been on the suggestions list for a long time, so let's go finally! Parisi features Florentine-style northern Italian food, and there are actually two separate restaurants here. We will eat in the main (street-level) restaurant with the normal menu, while downstairs is home to the more formal Firenze a Tavola, which we can certainly do at another time.
Because of the setup of the restaurant, they've asked us to do the following: we'll have a few smaller tables rather than one large one, so when you get there, please come find our tables first, rather than getting directly into the line to order. Once we have a good number of people present, we'll all go over together to the line to order, and then of course we will be able to have separate checks for each person.
There are plenty of menu options for everyone, ranging from wood-fired chicken and fish to pastas, pizzas and calzones. There's also a small market where you can take home some Italian goodness as well. Because of the space limitations, we have to cap this at 20 people. I anticipate a very long wait list, so please don't RSVP unless you know you can attend, and if something comes up, please update your attendance so that others can come instead. No-shows will not be tolerated. I will close RSVPs at 4:30 on the day of the event, so please try to avoid any last-minute changes if at all possible. See you there!
