The film documents the colorful and dramatic closing act of Valentino's celebrated career, tells the story of his extraordinary life and work, and also explores the larger themes affecting the fashion business today. But at the heart of the film is the unique relationship between Valentino and his business partner and companion of 50 years, Giancarlo Giammetti.Produced and directed by Matt Tyrnauer, Special Correspondent for Vanity Fair magazine.

SPECIAL THURSDAY, JUNE 18 PRESENTATION: Join the Friends of the Goldstein and GMD assistant curator, Dr. Jean McElvain, for a screening of the film. Before the screening, Dr. McElvain will give a twenty minute talk on Valentino's background, his inspiration and his life as a designer entitled "Who is Valentino." Lecture begins at 6:55pm, free of charge with ticket purchase.
