In this duo talk, Jeff and Darren will examine how English became the dominant, global language it is today and consider its growth as a model for how UX can continue to become a dominant force in design. How has UX become one of the fastest growing and most desirable careers? The answer for both is assimilation and adaptation. This talk will inspire designers to blur the lines between different fields of study—anthropology, visual design, library science, psychology, motion design, data science, coding, industrial design, and countless others—and bring their personal passions into their work and into the future of UX.
