What we're about

We're a professional group for Interaction Design, with forays into User Experience Design and related fields. All are welcome, whether you have years of experience or are just curious about making technology better for people. We serve Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, and other northern parts of the Colorado Front Range. If you're in the southern part of the Front Range, there's also a new IxDA chapter in Colorado Springs: http://ixdacos.groupsite.com/main/summary

Check our Message Board for job leads starting in 2010. Older job leads are posted at our alternate site (which we are phasing out) -- http://ixdacolorado.groupsite.com/main/summary . Or you can check out the international site at http://www.ixda.org . Plus, you can follow us on twitter @ixdacolorado.

Welcome to the tribe!

Upcoming events (2)

Anyone interested in a UX/UI/IxD barcamp in the Boulder/Denver area?

If you've never heard of barcamps-they're an "unconference". Traditionally, there's no charge, but every attendee is expected to participate-either by presenting (including being on a panel for discussions), or by helping organize, setup, tear down, provide refreshments, etc. It's a great way to share knowledge without having to travel (I know-takes some of the fun out of it for some folks) or incur expensive registration fees.

A Design Night
Needs a date and time

Needs a location

Similar to a Hack Night, bring a design problem (or don't), bring your favorite tools not necessarily digital and we can all brainstorm and sketch solutions.
