After a busy February at Seattle for Interactions 19 conference, we're back for our 2nd meetup in 2019!
This March we will be chatting with Amy Huang, Head of Design at RedMart, about her design journey over the years and moving from San Francisco to Singapore.
Topics we will explore include:
- Design leadership
- Designer at SF vs Singapore
- Hiring and evaluation of designers
- Team building and growth
- Managing stakeholders and team
- Design vs business goals
About Amy Huang
Amy is a UX leader dedicated to making technology delightfully useful in everyday life - through a combination of user insight, systems thinking, and continuous iteration. Prior to joining RedMart, Amy lived in San Francisco, where she led user experience teams at consumer brands such as Blurb, Apollo Education, Shutterfly and Disney. She studied Human-Computer Interaction at Stanford University and had the good fortune to learn from some of the great pioneers of user experience and product design.
Agenda for the evening
7 - 7:30pm: Registration, networking, refreshments
7:30 - 8:45pm: Conversation with Amy
8:45 - 9pm: Open mic
We're hoping to keep the session really informal and casual where it is more conversation centric so bring along some burning questions to the session. The value of the meetup is as good as the questions asked :)
Also, if you would like to ask questions privately, please email me at [masked] and I'll ask on your behalf :) Alternatively, you can tweet us the questions @IxDASG (http://www.twitter.com/ixdasg) and we will have them answered!
As we have very limited space, please only RSVP if you can make it so that others can confirm their attendance. See you there!
