The Grid Needs a Battery! Why Storage is Key to a Clean Renewable Energy Economy

Hear Rhonda Peters & Ken Regelson this coming Thursday on

The GRID needs a BATTERY - Why Storage is Key to a Clean Renewable Energy Economy

Batteries hold the key to a power grid based on clean renewable energy sources but they can do a lot more than most of us know. Learn why we can be optimistic that remaining hurdles in policy, technology and cost will soon be overcome.

Rhonda Peters, PhD, is an energy engineer and Principal at InterTran Energy Consulting. Her background is in the wind industry.

Ken Regelson is an electrical engineer and consultant focussed on accelerating the move to a sustainable energy future.  EnergyShouldBe.org

Who know how many facets storage can take? Ken Regelson was good for some surprises and for starting an intense discussion. And I'm awed at how playfully Rhonda Peters told the potentially dry subject of the relationship between the grid and battery storage as a love story, complete with Match.com profile. Really excellent, both form and content.
Finally, we had the best attendance ever with 76 people! Thanks for coming.

I am grateful - especially since all of them (or any of us organizers) do it for free.
