Come on out and have a good time learning new and classic soul linedances!! We welcome everyone….even if you say you have TWO LEFT FEET, LOL!! We call it “No Fault” linedancing….just have fun and mess up till you catch up! Our class is divided into Beginner's and High Beginners/Intermediate Sessions. The Beginner's Session will start at 6:30pm for our warm up and will end around 7:30pm. This session will allow you to slowly build up your linedance knowledge and burn some unwanted calories! If you would like to continue, you would just stay put and enjoy the High Beginners/Intermediate Session from about 7:35 to 8:45pm. This would give you a full workout!! (Gotta be out by 9pm sharp!) We'll be looking forward to seeing all our old members and new ones too! Here's a link to our Website: For you new members, the church is located at 2270 South Harvard Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90018 (One block north of Adams Blvd., 2 blocks east of Western Avenue). You can park behind the church in the large parking lot and there are security guards on duty there. Once parked, come to the Plaza Area (From the parking lot, walk down the stairs on the east side of the church). Please try to come down the stairs on the outside of the church so as not to disturb the choir rehearsals and other meetings inside the church. Class cost is $5.00 which will go towards rebuilding our church funds, which have seriously been depleted (if you've kept up with the news.) Come on out and have great time in a NO FAULT atmosphere ... that means just come have some fun. We film a lot of the dances we are doing and you might find some here on our YouTube station: Thanks so much for your support! Jackie and James

What we're about

We meet every Friday night at First AME Church, 2270 S Harvard Blvd, LA, 90018 to exercise and have fun by soul linedancing. We truly believe in NO FAULT LINEDANCING - It's okay if you're not completely on step....and if you have 2 LEFT FEET, LOL!! We walk through all steps before cranking up the music, and call out all moves to make it easier to learn the dances. We do old school dances like The Cupid Shuffle or the the latest ones like The Triple Mad, STL No Limit, and teach a new dance each month. Our basic routine goes through about 9 dances, starting off with a 5 minute stretch, 40 minutes of moderate dance, 25 minutes of high intensity, and a cool down of cha cha style dances for the last 20 minutes.
