Dustin Doom served for six years with the 38th Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Company transitioned to civilian contracting as an intelligence analyst and subject matter expert of found unexploded ordnance and Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) for Intelligent Software Solutions. He then deployed as a civilian instructor with Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services to teach the Afghan Army EOD and Count-IED before making the decision to change careers.

Today, he is a junior developer for El Toro, a local technology development company that specializes in IP tracking-based advertising. This opportunity was afforded him after completing two courses at Code Louisville, a software development training program of KentuckianaWorks. He hopes to leverage his new skill set and career to one day create software that makes environments safer for his military brothers and sisters.
