We've got a great couple of talks this month; Jenny is coming to tell us about the WordPress REST API, and we've got Roger who is going tell us about his react-based pluggable architecture behind Zegami (you might remember him showing it at our show and tell a couple of months ago).
There'll be interesting people, a friendly atmosphere and refreshments. Big props to HaybrookIT for making this possible .
[CANCELLED] Make your UI flexible with a plugin architecture, featuring React – Roger Noble
Unfortunately Roger is unable to attend. We'll definitely have him back in the future. In his place, we have two talks (huge thanks to Marcus & Henry for stepping in)
🆕 Cool stuff you can do with TypeScript – Marcus Noble
🆕 Git – Why Does It Call Itself Stupid? – Henry Blyth
Why you should use Git, how to use it really quickly, and getting deep into some common commands.
Beheading WordPress – Jenny Wong
The new WordPress REST API has been in the works for over two years. As it gets ready to become part of the WordPress core, we are already seeing new uses for WordPress. In this talk, Jenny will discuss how the WP-API works, how it is already being used in the wild, and what it means for the future of WordPress
BOOYA – Everyone
This month we’ll be holding a BOOYA (Bring yOur Own hYperlink Along) - we gather a list of interesting links and discuss them as a group.
