J.C. Hiatt - Fault Tolerance in React 🔥

Fault tolerance is the property that enables a system to continue operating properly in the event of the failure of some (one or more faults within) of its components. What this mean for our React applications?

Error Boundaries are how we increase fault tolerance in React applications. In this talk, you'll learn all about Error Boundaries in React, including how to write them and use them appropriately.

Ryan Malinowski (Prolific Fitness App) - building a mobile app & current roadblocks facing the app.

Ryan Malinowski is a non-technical founder who recently built a mobile app for iOS & Android (with a close developer friend who lives overseas). Ryan wants to find a technical co-founder who is based more locally in the US & is looking for experienced insight from developers in regards to doing so with the application in its early stages (functioning MVP w/ small paying user base).

Ryan holds most of his experience on the marketing side, having previously led the marketing team for an Inc 5000 (digital marketing, SEO/SEM, Analytics, etc). The past few years, Ryan has spent time playing professional ice hockey overseas in Europe & spends the entire off season living in Hattiesburg. The meetup discussion will cover the origins of why the app was built (what purpose does it serve?), some of the challenges faced in building the app, & the biggest roadblocks the app is now facing currently.
