What we’re about
Welcome to the Jacksonville Dragon Boat Club. We are a "Fun-loving" group of folks who love Dragon Boating, a rapidly growing team sport in which crews compete in races of various lengths to win bragging rights, have lots of fun, and reap the benefits of a group workout!
Jacksonville Dragon Boat Club has teams for everyone. We have continually improved in performance because we are lucky to have a true Dragon Boat Training Center! We have a premiere co-ed competitive team led by a 2015-Current, Team USA paddler! Our mixed competitive recreational team is the Saltwater Slayers, who have a great time competing at festivals and enjoy the camaraderie of team spirit.
We also have the only all breast cancer survivor team in Jacksonville, the Mammoglams. This is a great group of women who are the best of friends and live by the motto, "We won the battle...now let's paddle!" Jacksonville Dragon Boat Club hosts the annual Jacksonville Dragon Boat Festival each year at the Landing.
Our mission is to expose the sport of dragon boating to the community and support the award-winning local non-profit 501c3, In the Pink, a boutique for women living with all types of cancer. Join us and get involved in something new and fun!
