Special Jade Circle® before the Winter Break!
♥ All Women are Welcome! ♥
No previous experience is needed, an evening that welcomes total beginners, and other women who have been before, as all experiences are valued at the Jade Circle® and can contribute to the group pool of knowledge. The Jade Egg Holistic Practice addresses the needs, interests and desires of those who attend - weaving together a rich tapestry of feminine energy, wisdom and experience. So this is why the Circles are always different, and what makes it always so interesting!
An empowering evening of inspiration and celebration - from wisdom to action!
We will have a short interactive talk to present the Jade Egg Holistic Practice (which includes unveiling the Jade Egg** Secrets) follow by practices for you to feel the benefits from Ancient Secrets which can be easily applied in our modern lives: the Tao ( = the way) of Feminine Empowerment.
Experience and Enjoy:
• Kuan Yin QiGong - which besides grounding and centering, offers gentle, but profound exercises for the whole body, including the pelvis;
• Meditation - to cultivate inner harmony which spreads into your outer world, together with self-love and self-acceptance;
• Lungs Healing Sound - as in the Taoist Calendar we are still in the season of the lungs, the Autumn, the Metal Element. The Lung Virtues are courage and self-confidence (we definitely need them for these times of change, and indeed to be yourself!) and the emotions are grief and sadness. We can look upon them as a process of letting go... And it's such a perfect time of the year to do so!...
• Yin (specific to women) Practice - for ultimate health, wellbeing and juiciness!
+ + + + + A taste of Kalbeliya Gypsy Dance from the Deserts of Rajasthan - How can there be celebration without dance? ;) The Kalbeliya people are the snake charmers tribe from Rajasthan in the North of India, with their mesmerising ancient music and dance. Let's shake this cold away, tapping into the sensual and passionate self !
Bring a long skirt for the dance - the swirlier the better!
I'm delighted to share my other passion (besides the Jade Egg Holistic Practice) with you: the Kalbeliya Gypsy Dance! This is what I do when not facilitating Jade Circle® for women; and Tai Chi (http://www.healing-tao.co.uk/ht_taichi.htm) and Healing Tao (http://www.healing-tao.co.uk/) for mixed groups with my beloved partner Kris Deva North.
Below a video from my dear teacher Suva Devi (famous gypsy dancer featured in the documentary 'Latcho Drom' - which explains the migration of the gypsy from India to Europe and how the music and dance influenced everywhere they passed... and this explains where the Flamenco comes from!...)
Suva Devi now has 5 children and 1 grandchild and still rocking!! I learned from her living in her home, in a village in the edges of the desert, outside Jodphur.
Performing with Suwa Devi last year.
With Kalbeliya sisters and my other dearest teacher Mamta in Pushkar.
After a performance in Jaisalmer desert.
♥ Looking forward to see you, to meet you and dance with you!
