Nov. 12, 9 am - #3 Fall Foilage No History Hike of Hollywood Cemetery

  • One Monument Avenue Apartment

413 Stuart Circle, Richmond, VA (map)

    37.552120 -77.458054

  • Join us for a  hike through Hollywood Cemetery that is arguably the best place in Virginia to observe the fall foilage, and it will be near peak the end of October.

This is a 5 mile, hike beginning at Stuart Circle in the Fan to Hollywood Cemetery and return.

And this time it's just a hike; no history unless you want to bring it up yourself.

Parking is available on the 1st level of the parking structure across Lombardy Street from One Monument Avenue apartments and behind the First English Lutheran Church.

The address of the church is 1603 Monument Ave, Richmond, VA 23220.

All first level spaces are good for you to park on  evenings when the First English Lutheran Church isn't having a function EXCEPT those spaces reserved for Laurel Hill and marked with one of these two signs.

To repeat the above, do not park in spaces reserved for Laurel Hill.  All others on the first level are ok.

Below is a view looking north.  Notice Stuart Circle in the background and One Monument Avenue Apartment to the right.

We will assemble here at the front of One Monument Avenue.

Then one mile from there to the entrance to Hollywood Cemetery.
