How did you learn about James River Hikers?

I love to walk , be outside and learn a little history while doing it.

Have you posted a profile picture so other members will recognize you when you come to Meetups? If not, why not?

What would you like the members to know about you?

I try to walk everyday and work out at the gym. I exercise over 2 hrs a day. I am looking to change the area I walk in so I don't get board. I'm a flexitarian and I try to be as healthy as I can be. I love to travel and have been to 48 of the states I love to camp and in general be outside. I am retired from Reynolds Metals. I am currently a school bus driver. I like being off during the summer and holidays. I love me a snow day. I love my kids. Some days more than others. I am looking forward to meeting the group. See you soon!!!!

Hi, I love to be outside . It does not matter If I'm working in the yard or taking a walk. The sunshine and fresh air boost my mood every time and makes me feel happy (Happy Song). I am looking forward to meeting the group and making new friends.

What Pamela T. is saying about this Meetup Group

Its not only fun meeting new people and excellent exercise you never know what you may see. This is my poor dog story. May 3, 2014. During a 8 miler we stopped to take a break. Bill and I spotted a poor dog looking like it was homeless, hungry and hurt. We talked back and forth poor dog, maybe looking for food, and limping. Poor Dog! Bill diagnosed maybe hip displacement , poor dog. I started feeling more sorry for the dog the more we talked. Poor dog! Then he squatted. Took a dump and walked away perfectly happy. I about busted my gut laughing so hard. Poor Dog! Always having fun with you people! Pamela
