Join us to say your goodbyes to Yutaka! Yutaka will be returning to Japan to continue his studies in February. We've enjoyed having him as part of our community for the past year and a half. Not only was he our fearless lead paddler of our Dragon Boat team, but he's been a constant smile at Kaiwa Club. So, put this evening on your calendar and join us in giving Yutaka the Colorado farewell he deserves!

This gathering will be in place of our regularly scheduled Kaiwa. Therefore, we will NOT meet the morning of 1/26, but rather the evening of 1/26 at Comrade Brewing Company. The brewery does not have a kitchen, but they do have rotating food trucks and 6 restaurants that are a 2-minute walk away. You are welcome to bring your food to the brewery.

This is a family friendly evening, so feel free to bring friends, kids, etc. Please RSVP if you intend on coming so we can have an estimated headcount to share with the brewery. We look forward to seeing you there!

Welcome to the JASC Kaiwa Club! The Japan America Society of Colorado (http://www.jascolorado.org/) is happy to host this bi-weekly gathering for native and non-native Japanese speakers to use their language skills in a relaxed space. We understand that if you don't use it, you lose it, so come use your Japanese!

We encourage our Kaiwa Club participants to share what they know and help each other learn. We hope you can use this community to maintain and build on the Japanese skills you have. Feel free to bring your じしょ, ノート, and anything else you find helpful. Kaiwa Club is a vehicle to keep your relationship with Japan alive while in Colorado.

*Kaiwa Club is intended to maintain and strengthen the Japanese language skills you already possess. If you are interested in learning Japanese, JASC offers "Passport to Japan" Japanese classes (http://www.jascolorado.org/learning-japanese/) and we welcome you to check them out or contact us with questions: info[at]jascolorado[dot]org
