  • Eastside board game meetup
We are pushing out this instance by a week (now 11/30) to avoid conflicting with Thanksgiving. This event series is all about learning Japanese through playing interactive board games. If you are a beginner, don't worry, I will have some cheat sheets ready for you. If you feel like taking some challenges, I've got some advanced games too. Food will not be provided but you are more than welcome to grab anything from the food court. NO OUTSIDE FOOD PLEASE! or we will be charged a fee. The room rental is $25. It would be really helpful if you can chip in a couple of bucks. Anything extra will go towards new games. If enough people are interested, we will go to Tutta Bella afterward.

  • Open Seattle Japanese Language and Culture Meetup
Welcome back to our regularly scheduled meetup at Ten Sushi. This place has been good to us in the past and always has a good turn out. This is a kaitenzushi place and they've got someone for everyone. The price range is rather varied, with sashimi, nigiri, rolls, and various cooked items on the menu. They'll separate the checks out for us to make paying simple as well. Parking is easy and free in the building. Or take bus #3, #4, or the monorail. Nijikai will likely be at McMenamins, Solo, or Streamline.
