This week, we're at a new restaurant in Belltown that serves house-made fish cakes. Thai style fish cakes range in style between Seattle-style crab cakes to hanpen-like in texture.
We'll order an assortment of fish cake-centric and vegetarian dishes, plus a meaty dish or two, all to share. Expect the price to run around $20/person, give or take a couple of dollars, after tax and tip.
You can order drinks separately. This is a small restaurant. Please keep your RSVP up-to-date, and please don't be a "no-show", because it may be tough for the restaurant to adjust, and may keep some people more committed from attending. We're nearly taking over the restaurant's space.
Bus access is easy from downtown with most Queen Anne-bound routes, and some Fremont-bound routes like 5 and 358. You can also walk from most of downtown fairly easily. Parking is often a bit frustrating around here, but there are often a number of spots a bit north of here along 1st-3rd Ave.
Nijikai may be at Rendezvous or Rob Roy, or wherever the Belltown denizens think best represents their neighborhood.
