[Mandatory registration is done via EVENTBRITE (not Meetup).  See Below for the registration link]

JAVA PUZZLERS
A Special Evening with Josh Bloch and Bob Lee

SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING GNU, SOMETHING BOGUS, SOMETHING BLEW

How can they do it? How can long-time Java experts Josh Bloch and (Square CTO) Bob Lee keep coming up with such great programming puzzlers year after year after year?   They can't!   In this, the umpteenth installment of this perennial crowd pleaser, Click and Hack, the Type-It Brothers, recycle the best of a bad lot, and throw in a few all-new Java puzzles for your pleasure and astonishment.  But it's not all fun and games: the lessons you take away from this fun-filled extravaganza will alert you to the dangers that lurk in Java's dark corners, so you can avoid or eliminate them from your programs and designs.  BTW, here's Josh's Java Puzzlers book.

Here's your chance to be tested by two of the top Java experts on the planet!  What you learn during this meeting will help you dramatically with your Java code and make you a seasoned Java software engineer.

REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY.  ABSOLUTELY NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED WITHOUT PRE-REGISTRATION.

This meeting will NOT be at our usual location on Park Ave.

Please enroll early!  We have limited capacity and this event will sell-out fast.  And please be courteous to your fellow NYJavaSIG members and cancel if you are not coming.

Location:  One Chase Manhattan Plaza (downtown), NY

Enter on the William Street entrance (east side of building, between Pine St and Liberty St)

1. Take escalator up one flight from the entrace to the main level
2. Register with the JPMC security desk on the main level
3. Take the elevator to the 60th Floor for the NYJavaSIG meeting

Special thanks to Square's New York City Engineering office for sponsoring this awesome meeting!  Square is the company with those cool, tiny credit-card readers.

Our humblest thanks to JP Morgan Chase for hosting this meeting, sponsoring the food/refreshments and supporting the NY Java Community!
