1st talk: How we shielded our developers from the JavaScript frameworks circus. By Markus Henschel - Solutions Architect for OutSystems (https://www.outsystems.com/)

JavaScript fatigue is almost a cliche now. Behind it, though, is a real danger: with rapid iteration in front-end frameworks it can feel that we’re always one step behind the curve. Rather than building value, we’re learning yet another JavaScript framework only for it to be end-of-lifed before we’ve written a line of production code. This is the story of the choices we made to get more stuff done and spend less time worrying about trends.

2nd talk: From Idea to MVP in 4 weeks with React. By Marc Rivelles (https://github.com/fsdevlondon) tech lead at LeanJS (https://leanjs.com)

React is a declarative, component-based tool to build complex UIs. React is known to be very performant rendering UIs, but React is also very performant helping teams building and iterating to create great products. In this talk Marc will explain how they build and tested in a few weeks an MVP for a huge client using React.

3rd talk: Web Payments and the future of online checkouts. By Peter O'Shaughnessy (https://twitter.com/poshaughnessy), developer advocate at Samsung Internet (https://twitter.com/samsunginternet)

The up-and-coming Payment Request API is now supported by Chrome for Android, Samsung Internet and Edge Preview. For us web developers, it can provide an easy way to launch an online checkout form, collecting users' payment and shipping details. For our users, it can provide a consistent, quick and secure checkout process across all supporting websites. I think it's worth checking out!
