I plan to return, but last night I was side-tracked by work.

Sorry I was worthless without my laptop last night. Apparently I trying to run my macbook with a 60w power adapter last night, my 85w at home proved my laptop still works. ><
Really enjoyed working with everyone & seeing both new and familiar faces. This topic seemed a bit more in-depth than our last one but I really like what we got "working" for my own selfish reasons (maybe the return of frazy?).

Unfortunately, I am now knee deep in a production problem... someday man... someday....

The covered parking around the North-East side enters to the 3rd floor. C2FO is one more flight up and to the right. If anyone has issues getting in feel free to call me:[masked]
Bring your laptops with node installed. This group is all hands on!
No coffee for you Wyatt.
... but will there be coffee?

Lean coffee style means we all come up with a bunch of ideas of what to hack on then vote. After we hack we discuss how we solved the problem. We'll break into small manageable groups.
Will there be coffee or is this about writing coffee script?
I've asked our chief engineer for permission to host the April meeting. That way, if there is nowhere else to go, we may have a fallback. I'll let you know how he responds.

Joseph, nobody has given any feedback about meeting at 5001 College Blvd. For it to happen, I must ask permission from management, and then it might take a day or so. If I ask on Monday, I'll surely know by end of day on Wednesday - probably sooner, but I would rather error on the side of caution. So, to get to the point, had I better ask for permission and get this ball rolling? We have a good meeting room, like a classroom, wifi, and all the requirements for a productive meeting place. We don't have beer. Please advise me one way or another soon.

Joseph, if you want me to, I'll ask my employer for permission to host. We have a good space - kind of like a classroom - that would serve our purposes. One up-side is that we have some programmers here who I think would be interested in attending. But if you lose your core group on account of the location... well, I don't know. Can we get some more feedback from members?

All we need is space for about 30 folks plus A/V and a good place to set up laptops for hacking. In the past we haven't had much luck with going down south but maybe it's worth another try. I suppose we could have advertise better.
Okay, so anybody have an idea for a location? I work at 5001 College Blvd. Would that work? I can ask for access, and we have a decent facility. It's not like VML, but for practical purposes it would do.
We need a location for the next meeting. Before I ask at work, let me ask the group: would you consider meeting at a site on College Blvd - right off Roe? That's a long way from VML, but I think it's more central for a lot of IT workers in the metro. Thoughts?
