  • Bank of America

I would love to invite everyone to join us Tuesday July 23rd from 6-8 pm to welcome José Zouain as he presents a follow-up to his previous discussion on the Unified Modeling Language UML and tools available to Software Architects and Developers.

José Zouain is an Information System Professional with more than fifteen years of experience in different phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), managing advance programming, system maintenance and problem determination where he fulfilled a number of roles.

He has been an UML evangelist since 1998, experienced in Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, User Interfaces and Data Modeling.

Among his responsibilities he held different titles such as Senior Business Analysts, Project Manager, User Acceptance Manager, OOP (Object Oriented Programming) Developer, and System Analyst.

Please join us on the 4th Tuesday of this and every month at 6pm on the Bank of America campus on Southside, building 500 on the second floor all the way in the back on the right.

The wonderful crew at TekSystems will be providing drinks and pizza, and drawings for software licenses from JetBrains, MindScape, and Telerik will be presented at the conclusion of the meeting by random drawing.

I don't think anyone would disagree the best meetings we've ever had have been the ones where we challenge the presentators topic and get our speakers to get deeper into the planned presentation. David's talk last month was brilliant, educational, and entertaining to me personally because it wasn't a "Here's what I use and why it's totally the best!" But it was a "Here's a real paid project I just completed, and what I spent nights trying to fix because the friggin documentation was lacking!" Sidney, I'm always glad when you attend because you present proper questions to the speakers in a way that I cannot often articulate (you too Brandon!). I hope you're not just trolling and I challenge you determine the topic of the July meeting. I can't promise that I'll be allowed to bring in a chain link fence cage into BOA for the meeting, but I doubt anyone would disagree this would be an awesome opportunity to become a better group for everyone. :)

OH! On a non-related topic, we need 8 more people to sign-up to the group to hit 200 members! Invite you're developer friends or even your parents, children, or pets! I might get some free stuff for the group! Oh crap guys, I might be a whore after all. ;) JK

Seriously, Namaste and thank you everyone who puts themselves out there and attend to make every local user group a success, have a safe 4th of July! Xoxo
