There have been a few questions about what the cost of the trip would be if you came out Friday through Sunday and miss the Enchilada shuttle ride. The cost for that would be $30 per person. If you are going to do that send a message and I will RSVP for you. That way you are not forced to pay for the shuttle that you will not be on. I will collect the $ when you show up at camp.
After a few years off it's back!!
Its time for the annual fall pilgrimage to Moab, UT. If you have not ridden with our group in the past you should attend one of our weekly rides before RSVPing. It is your responsibility to know your own limits and abilities. The ride selections, trail lengths, and the ride pace will be more on the advanced end of the spectrum. We all want to have fun on this trip so please ensure that you have the skills necessary to participate prior to your RSVP. Payment will be required in order to rsvp and there are no refunds if you change your mind or can't attend for any reason.

Here's the scoop for now, the group site A at Big Bend campground is reserved, up to 28 people can attend, start date is Thursday Sept 12, end date Sunday Sept 15. We will ride sweet single track, drink beer, build camp fires, reminisce about how awesome the ride/s were... For most of you that is really all you need to know. More details will follow as the trip date approaches for the rest of you

There will be a fee of $65.00 usd charged to cover the cost of the Whole Enchilada shuttle and camping for the weekend. Let me repeat this, $65 covers the camping cost, and the shuttle for the Whole Enchilada ride, you are responsible for any other costs such as getting to Moab, your beer, your food... The fee is $65 if you stay for one night or if you stay for them all.

Please consider that the rides are not "no drop" rides. If you can't keep up you will be left behind! The group tends to naturally split into a few different paces over the course of a ride but it is up to you to find your place within the pack.

The preliminary ride schedule looks like this but is subject to change

Thursday Afternoon: Lunch Loops trails in Grand Junction

Friday: Whole Enchilada

Saturday: Blue Dot

Sunday: Amasa Back

RULES: 1. Don't be late. If you are late it's YOUR responsibility to catch up. We are all racing the sunset.

2. No whining. This is a VOLUNTARY ride. If we are too slow, too fast, it's too hot, too cold, or too windy...please stay home and eat Cheetos instead

3. Show up even if the weather looks bad, most times it looks way worse than it really is. If we can't ride due to weather we will end up heading to a local pub for Happy Hour so your efforts won't be wasted.
