This group is for people who have been diagnosed (or not) with a mood disorder, are depressed or bipolar, have OCD, anxiety, or are dealing with either recent diagnosis. It's also open to friends, family, and supporters who want to learn about living with a mood disorder and share personal experiences. Here is a good place to start seeking help, or discuss treatment and challenges dealing with diagnosis and living with a mood disoder.
Group discussion can bring tremendous insight into yourself and provide the tools to get through the week, day, month, year. This is NOT a group therapy, just a discussion between people who have been struggling who are looking for feedback, tips, and support while overcoming these incredibly complicated responses to life.
If you lost your job and are feeling hopeless, having relationship problems, are grieving about losing someone close, are feeling lost and sad and need someone to talk about it, are supporting, living with, or have been raised by someone with a mood disorder, and want some insight into dealing with your feelings, or just rant - this is a place for you to get the support and motivation you need, ask questions, and gather the strength to deal with struggles of living with a mood disorder and the stigma from people many of us interact with on daily basis.
