What we're about

The Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island (JGSLI) was founded in 1985 dedicated to encouraging and assisting the pursuit of Jewish family history. Our goal at the JGSLI is to bring together people interested in tracing their Jewish family roots. We are a non-profit organization, organized and operated through the efforts of our members.

JGSLI meetings run September through June. Meetings include expert speakers and a tip of the month.
Meetings also include announcements and Mishopcha Mavens. The Mavens can help you figure out where to start, point you in new directions, or help you break through a brick wall.
Visitors are welcome.
