The AfterLife: Exploring the Soul's Journey in This World, and in the Next.

Hi Everyone---

Come join us for our next Meetup! (Because of a technical glitch, the RSVP numbers are currently much higher than shown). It will be Tuesday December 6th, 2016 from 7:00-8:30pm, at the Jewish Community Center of Scottsdale, 12701 N. Scottsdale Road, Room 218-219.

We warmly welcome you, whether you are a member of a congregation or are unaffiliated. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, and find connection! Refreshments will be served.

Rabbi Pinchas Allouche will present: "The  Afterlife: An Exploration of the Soul’s Journey in this World, and in the Next."

Do Jews believe in heaven and hell? Can souls communicate with us from the heavens? Do we believe in Reincarnation and if so, how does it work? This lecture will explore the mysteries surrounding the spiritual dimension of our being. We will together examine the journey of the soul once it leaves the human body, and the many Jewish rituals and customs that help comfort those who were close to it. Besides for providing answers to life’s big questions, this lecture will help us become more in touch with ourselves and it will help us discover a newfound relationship with our loved ones who are no longer here with us in body.

Rabbi Allouche is a well respected and deeply loved rabbi, a sought-after lecturer, and an author of many essays on the Jewish faith, mysticism and social-criticism. Throughout the year, he will speak on a multitude of compelling topics that are of significant interest to us as individuals, and as a Jewish community. He is the head Rabbi at Congregation Beth Tefillah in Scottsdale, Arizona,  where he resides with his wife and eight children. Besides his impressive academic pedigree, he is richly-cultural, having lived in France, where he was born, South Africa, Israel and Italy.  He is fluent in English, Hebrew, French and Italian. He received his rabbinic ordination in Milan, Italy in 1999. In March, 2013, Rabbi Allouche was listed in “The Forward” as “One of America's 36 Most Inspiring Rabbis - Who Are Shaping 21st Century Judaism."

The cost for this event is $10.00 cash, payable at the door. You may pay with credit card in advance or online at the link below. Please bring a photo ID for entrance to the Jewish Community Center.

Grab some friends to join you...we look forward to seeing you there!

Warmest regards to all.....
