This group is for two practices that may seem similar but are different: Pranayama (Breath Control) and Meditation. Relaxation and stress release is guaranteed in both of them.
Breath affects and controls many of our body functions. When we breathe properly we manipulate these functions and improve our overall state of health. Pranayama is a conscious breath control technique that helps you achieve that. To control your breath is to control your mind. Meditation on the other hand is a practice of concentrated focus upon a sound, object, visualization, the breath, movement, or attention itself in order to increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance personal and spiritual growth.
